Environmental Determinants of Cancer

Our second major program focuses on educating communities about environmental contributors to cancer. Our research team translated scientific research on radiation and carcinogens in air, water, and food into clear, actionable brochures with guidance on topics like choosing safer cleaning products, reducing grilled meat consumption, and protecting against radiation. To date, we’ve reached nearly 500 people and distributed brochures along with free sunscreen, water filters, and radon test kit coupons.
